Al-Burhan is a nationwide Islamic educational and tarbiyah movement founded by Mufti Syed Adnan Kakakhail with the objective of reconnecting educated Muslims with authentic Islamic knowledge and practice. Established in 2016, Al-Burhan focuses particularly on university students, professionals, businessmen, and families — offering structured Islamic learning programs that can be pursued alongside academic, professional, and family responsibilities.
Headquartered at Jamia Masjid Khatm-e-Nabuwat in Islamabad, Al-Burhan has expanded its educational activities across numerous major cities of Pakistan through local centers, study circles, courses, seminars, and community initiatives. The institute strives to produce individuals who excel both in their worldly professions and in their understanding and practice of Islam.

Mufti Syed Adnan Kakakhail descends from the Kakakhail spiritual lineage — a direct descendant of Shaykh-e-Rahamkaar Hazrat Kaka Sahib. A renowned Islamic scholar, recipient of the Presidential Award for Best Debater of Pakistan, he founded Al-Burhan in 2016 to make rigorous Islamic education accessible to working professionals, students, and businesspeople.
His approach combines deep classical learning with practical wisdom. He has addressed audiences at LUMS, Bahria University, COMSATS, University of Peshawar, Bar Associations, and Chambers of Commerce — equally at home in a deeply spiritual Friday sermon and an analytical engagement with contemporary Islamic questions.

The Al-Burhan Story
Al-Burhan Institute founded by Mufti Syed Adnan Kakakhail in Islamabad, offering weekend and evening classes for students and professionals.
Seerat Circles launched — a structured 6-month program studying the life of the Prophet ﷺ, initially in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Al-Burhan expands to Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, and Peshawar. Thousands enrolled in Seerat Circles across multiple cities.
Online programs and digital content launched, extending Al-Burhan's reach nationally and internationally during challenging times.
Shabab Al-Burhan Youth Programme launched — training young Muslims aged 15–22 through camps, circles, and mentorship.
Seerat Circles now running simultaneously in 10+ cities. Al-Burhan YouTube channels surpass 1,000+ recorded lectures and thousands of subscribers.
